Na noite deste domingo (12), ocorreu em Los Angeles a 54ª edição dos prêmios Grammy, que indicaram os melhores nomes da música em 2012. No Brasil, o evento foi transmitido ao vivo pela TNT, na TV por assinatura.

A cantora inglesa Adele se sagrou a principal vencedora, recebendo os prêmios de gravação e música do ano por “Rolling in the Deep”, além de melhor álbum e melhor álbum pop por “21” e performance pop do ano, por “Someone Like You”.
Outro destaque foi a banda Foo Fighters, que recebeu um total de quatro Grammys, incluindo melhor álbum por “Wasting Light” e música de rock por “Walk”.
Durante a premiação, ocorreram diversas apresentações musicais, incluindo Bruce Springsteen, Bruno Mars, The Beach Boys, Paul McCartney, Adele e Katy Perry, entre outros.
A cerimônia ainda contou com uma homenagem à cantora Whitney Houston, que faleceu no último sábado (11). Além de imagens e vídeos, houve uma apresentação de Jennifer Hudson, cantando a música “I Will Always Love You”, um dos maiores sucessos de Whitney.
